My Life is My Home Town

                   

               My home town is Kegalle and it is the main town of Kegalle district which is a part of Sabaragamuwa province, Sri Lanka. Kegalle town is 77 KM away from Colombo and 39 KM away from Kandy. Kegalle town has a multicultural society. So Sinhala, Tamil, Muslim people are living in Kegalle. 

                     Around Kegalle town there are many varieties of crops and cultivations like tea, rubber coconut. Kegalle town is ruled under the urban council of Kegalle town. So around the town there is a library, district post office, Police station and other administrative offices. There are many schools around our town. 

                              

                        Pinnawala elephant orphanage bogala graphite mine are a few tourist attractive places around our town. Our town is a very peaceful place to live and I think I am very lucky to be born in a town like Kegalle. I am very proud of that.
